This challenge is powered by FinTechVisor, a global platform that enables FinTechs, InsurTechs, RegTechs and Financial NewTechs to showcase their solutions as well as empowering  an interactive matchmaking tool to foster new partnerships for them with financial institutions. 

It offers an opportunity for Financial NewTechs* and financial institutions to showcase their collaborative business solutions to a selective panel of experts and industry influencers.

*Financial NewTechs are StartUps or ScaleUps which provide B2B solutions for financial institutions.

 

CATEGORIES 

  • Collaboration 

Submit your collaborative project across Banking, Insurance, Payments and Wealth.

There will be 10 nominees and 1 Winner in this category.

  • Payments 
  • Wealth (and Capital Markets) 

Submit your B2B solutions in one or more of the following four business categories focusing on business enablement, customer experience, front, middle, or back-office improvement, regulatory environment, cybersecurity and data, green finance, sustainability, and inclusion

There will be 20 nominees (10 StartUp and 10 ScaleUp) and 2 Winners (1 StartUp and 1 Scale Up) in each of these categories.

Every Financial NewTech or Financial Institution can apply to the Challenge. You can submit all your most brilliant solutions and collaborative projects with your partners!

Submit your collaborative project with a focus on sustainable finance, across Banking, Insurance, Payments and Wealth.

Voting process

Efma and Capgemini will shortlist 10 StartUps and 10 ScaleUps applicants in Banking, Insurance, Payments and  Wealth categories and the 10 applicants in the Collaboration category. 

To select the nominees, each submission will be reviewed on the below criteria:

  • Business Potential
  • Originality
  • Impact
  • Wow Factor

 

Efma and Capgemini will also select the top Financial NewTechs applicants from the Challenge to create their Financial NewTech Watchlist 2021.

 

90 nominees only will enter the official voting phase!

A jury of renowned experts and all FinTechVisor visitors will be voting online to choose the winners in each Challenge category.

9 winners will be unveiled during the online Ceremony on 28 September 2021.

This will be a great opportunity to learn more about their inspiring initiatives, discover what lies behind them and connect with your peers to celebrate the best the industry has to offer.

You will also get an exclusive access to the Efma-Capgemini Financial NewTech Watchlist 2021, including the Top Financial NewTechs to watch out for in 2021 and beyond.
