Yapı Kredi is Turkey's first national-scale private bank. Yapı Kredi, which has been offering all banking services with a customer-centric strategy and segment-based service model since 1944, is in one of the most valuable 10 brands in Turkey with its innovative approach and focus on sustainable value creation. By the end of 2018, Yapı Kredi is the Turkey's third largest private bank, providing services with more than 16.500 employees, more than 840 branches, 4.402 physical services of the ATM network throughout Turkey as well as leading internet and mobile banking applications. Since its establishment, Yapı Kredi has played a major role in the development of the country's economy and has set the standards in the Turkish banking sector with its innovative products and services.

 

Yapı Kredi, which follows a customer-centric strategy, aims to create the best customer experience while focusing on understanding the needs and expectations of customers. Yapı Kredi's banking activities are carried out under retail banking, (Individual banking, SME Banking and card payment systems) corporate and commercial banking, private banking and asset management. Its operations are supported by domestic subsidiaries in the fields of portfolio management, investment, leasing and factoring, as well as its foreign banking subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Malta and Azerbaijan.

 

Yapı Kredi has a strong shareholding structure that supports sustainable and profitable growth. 9.02% of the bank's shares belong to Koç Holding A.Ş., 40.95% of its shares belong to Koç Financial Services (KFS) whose 100% of shares belongs to Koç Group. The direct and indirect ownership rate of the Koç Group in the Bank is 49.99%. 20,00% of the shares of the Bank belong to UniCredit S.P.A. The remaining 30.03% share is open to the public. Public shares of Yapı Kredi are traded on Borsa Istanbul since 1987.

As the bank that broke grounds with many innovations; Yapı Kredi has always been the pioneer of digital banking in Turkey. As the first in Turkey, we provide the opportunity to become a bank customer with "Video Processing Assistants" on Yapı Kredi Mobile without going to the bank. After completing the application form on Yapı Kredi Mobile, users can initiate face-to-face meetings with "Video Processing Assistants" whenever they want on their phones.

 

We always aim to provide superior customer experience at all our touchpoints by following the latest trends and understanding our customers’ needs. With this philosophy, we renewed the interface of Yapı Kredi Mobile in line with recent trends and customer needs, while introduced the Stories area to enhance our customers’ experience by offers that they may need and eventually, increasing engagement. Recently, we introduced in-app dark mode option, which was also a need for our customers.
